Ky is a Professional Counselor Associate and National Certified Counselor (NCC) who provides a warm, compassionate space for teens (13+) and adults. She is especially passionate about trauma healing, inner child work, and helping clients build a healthier relationship with themselves.
Her work is rooted in meeting clients where they are, supporting them with grounding tools first, and then gently guiding deeper exploration through mindfulness-based practices and IFS-informed work, always paced with readiness and care.
Yes. Ky offers both in-person and virtual sessions during the week, and bi-weekly Saturday appointments virtually.
Ky commonly supports trauma and unresolved past experiences, inner child wounds, anxiety, depression, emotional overwhelm, and parenting stress (including single parenting).
IFS is a gentle approach that helps you understand the different “parts” of you like the part that overthinks, the part that shuts down, or the part that feels younger and hurt. The goal isn’t to get rid of parts, but to build compassion, internal safety, and healing from the inside out.
MBCT blends mindfulness with practical cognitive tools to help you notice patterns in thoughts and emotions, build regulation, and respond with more clarity instead of getting pulled into anxiety, overwhelm, or old cycles.
