Kate Meza, CSWA

Kate’s passion is to help each individual to feel unique and accepted. I work to help people find a sense of joy and meaning in their life. I believe we all have the same basic needs to be heard and seen, and I strive to do this through a person-centered approach, holding advocacy and empowerment at the forefront of my practice. I have over 13 years in the field, and bring experience in a variety of settings in mental health including residential, transitional housing, respite, outpatient, and community treatment services for adults, youth, and families.

“Vulnerability is the birthplace of love, belonging, joy, courage, empathy, and creativity.  It is the source of hope, empathy, accountability, and authenticity.  If we want greater clarity in our purpose or deeper and more meaningful spiritual lives, vulnerability is the path.” -Brené Brown

When I am not working, I am spending time with my two children and my husband.  I enjoy nature and hikes, gardening, playing sports with my children, having meaningful conversations with good friends, and watching funny movies.
